About Bespoke Music
Tolga's skills cover everything from composing and arranging to conducting, musical direction and producing. This can be seen from his involvement in widely varying projects such as The Queen Symphony (composing and conducting), the BBC Children in Need's 'Perfect Day Single' (producing and musical direction) and the Seo Taiji Symphony (arranging and conducting).
Tolga's 15 year experience of writing music for film and TV stems from his work as a creative partner in ‘The Music Sculptors’. He has won many awards for his bespoke compositions including a British Academy of Film and Television Arts Award, a Royal Television Award and a Prix Jeunesse for his soundtrack to the children's animation ‘First Snow of Winter’ (Silver Fox Films, 1999). During his Music Sculptors days he wrote the soundtracks for ‘Where the Heart Is’ and ‘QED’, as well as iconic BBC idents and countless tracks for advertising. His expertise comes from instantly seeing the mood his clients want to create and by translating that in to sound. The way the music industry works has changed massively. It is vitally important to be open minded and flexible to all opportunities. This means that Tolga is open to discussing all possibilities over exploitation of any bespoke music created. This could mean anything from publishing and royalty splits, to commercially releasing the material for mutual benefit. Just get in touch with a brief!
